It’s hard to mention Cannes without our imaginations being totally caught up in the stereotypical images that accompany the city. Of course, we immediately think of the film festival, but we also tend to picture the town as being nothing more than an old Belle Epoque center, a sort of black-and-white postcard that transports us back in time to a different era.
