Palma, the capital of Spanish Balearic island Mallorca, is an ideal place for a short European city break. With its towering cathedral rising from the sea, and an old town with narrow streets where you can wander for hours, Palma is a place where you can easily build up an appetite. However it can be overwhelming when deciding where to eat in Palma and it’s easy to fall into a tourist trap if you don’t know where to go.

After my third visit to the city, I’ve found some of the best places to eat and drink in Palma, from traditional Spanish tapas bars to 100% organic vegan food. There are many more places for me to discover and I can’t wait to go back and enjoy more food and restaurants in Palma in the future, but these places to eat are my favourite finds so far.
