It’s interesting when you only know a place due to one very specific context. For me, The Hague was always associated with the International Court of Justice and stories regarding war criminals. Anything beyond that, I had no idea. In the end, it took a visit to this city in the Netherlands to fully realise that Den Haag, as it’s known in Dutch, is way more than just that.
